National Plughole Week
Buster is excited to launch National Plughole Week 2010 (10th -17thJuly) in aid of Oxfam with its Bottle for Change fundraising campaign!
This fun campaign is so easy for you to take part in. All you have to do is request your free bottles of specially branded mineral water either online or by calling Buster on 0870 6030420, and fill the empty containers with 1p, 5p and 20p coins - it’s as simple as that!
A bottle filled with 1p coins (approx £4) is enough for Oxfam to provide life saving water filtration buckets for two families in the developing world where 5,000 children die each day because they don’t have clean water to drink. During June and July we’re also boosting the fundraising by featuring striking neck collars on all four Buster products with the message ‘Together we’ll help’, and 5p on every bottle sold will be donated to Oxfam. So watch out for the special packs in stores near you!
Last year Buster raised £10,500 for Oxfam through National Plughole Week. We hope to quadruple this figure in 2010 with the help of our new corporate partner Dyno-Rod, the drain and plumbing specialists.
National Plughole Week is the main event in the Buster calendar and this year, with our partners’ help; it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before!
